As has been mentioned here, Alby pulled another perfect Yarrawa weekend out of his hat to ensure that Stingfest 2 was a raging success.

Perfect autumn conditions saw base rising from 2 grand to over 4 by the end of the day. There was a bit of drift, so to avoid dragging anyone away from the festivities for a retrieve, we all just twisted our way up to the end of the valley then beat it head-wind back to either get up again, or to land back at the strip and carry straight on to a waiting dolly and tow up again.

The weather thingies say Saturday will be blowing hard and Sunday improving.
Stingfest may have to be put back yet again. There's no point heading out if the cionditions are going to be naff. We all want the FEST to be safe and enjoyable, and for that we need good weather.
I know heaps of you are keen to get out there and show us your style in the hope of bagging THE TROPHY, but....safety is not negotiable.

It's early in the week for reliable forcasts, so please check here on Thursday evening (say 7.30) for the go or stay call.

And don't loose faith - the FEST will happen.

The weather gods are not smiling on us for the FEST.

Scone forecast is for 60% chance of rain on Saturday, 70% on Sunday and windy.

The Fest deserves much better than this, sooooo, with an optimistic eye on the future, we are postponing (again).

The new dates are the 16th & 17th May.

Due to the recent and forecast crap weather, Stingfest is postponed to the reserve dates of 18/19th April.
