Thanks to Dawson for loading the weather pages.
I have setup live weather on line for all of our popular flying sites. You can see current detail and also the forecast for the next few days. Clicking on the page will take you to Accu weather (one of the sources that I use for general weather conditions). Once at the Accu weather site you can select what day you want the forecast for. The preset wind speed is in KPH not knots.

Hunter Bombout

The landowner for the old bombout below Hunter Lookout has asked that we contact him by telephone 2 days prior to landing in his paddock.

Please do not land there without first having let him know. If you intend to fly from Hunter Lookout, please contact Jason McKenzie to arrange the requested notice being given to the landowner.

Georgia took these pics of the road in to Pete's place on Saturday morning.
Pete reckons the water was too deep to wade across and stopped them getting out to the main road.
Anyone got plans for a float dolly?

2011 Club Xmas Party

The NHGC Club Xmas party will be held this year at my place on Saturday 10/Dec/2011 from 6pm onwards.

The club will supply some bbq basics, and bread.

Please bring a salad, desert or something else interesting to put on the table for all to share & a camping chair to sit on.

BYO Drinks.

Wybung site notice found on CCSCS, facebook forum..

Wybung is being closed down by National Parks for December and January to all Paragliding and Hang Gliding due to a group of pilots landing in the wrong areas.

Any pilots found flying at Wybung duringDecember and January will result in the site being lost and they will be prosecuted by National Parks and expelled from the CCSS (though I believe that these pilots are from another club).
