Saturday 27th Sept: an attempt to explore an avenue over 'the range' to the North from Pete's, 'DEN-MEN' Glen, Simon, Peter with Simon in the middle doing the Haka cause he will be world H/G Champion in 5 yrs - go Simon!
Merewether launch site will be closed for a wedding on the 01 Nov 2014 between 3-5pm
The area will be unavailable for launches and landings over this time. Normal operations will recommence after 5pm.
We are holding a “Fun Fly In” to get ourselves acquainted with the Wellington airstrip. Newly accredited RAA tug pilots Pete and Ian will be there tow us up at affordable rates.
We will have a briefing at 9:30AM at the strip. The aim will be to start towing by 10AM.

NSW State Titles Mt Borah and Manilla have become by-words within the Australian pilot's Lexicon for awesome flying. What better place could there be for the guns of Australia to duel it out for the prestigious title of NSW State Champion. This is a HGFA sactioned AA rated competition that is so popular is this comp that the best pilots from around the country regularly compete. Only a NSW HGFA pilot can be crowned state champ, but anyone from around the world can enter to win the comp.
Corryong Cup is recognised as one of the most enjoyable competitions in the Australian soaring calendar. It's all about having fun and learning. The aim of the comp is to foster the development of cross country competition flying skills in all levels of pilots, in a non stressful, friendly environment. Places are limited, and with such keen interest, registrations fill up very fast, so keep an eye on the site and on www.facebook.com/corryongcup for news.
