Hickson Street close proximity exemption is not applicable, 25 meter exemption for other sites was applicable to roads adjoining these sites. Brett Coupland considered this a subject worthy of further discussion. However no immediate action will be needed

I have re-installed our picture gallery.

There seemed no way to do this gracefully so I have used brute force and reloaded all the pictures I could find manually.

There were a few named folders and I will contact you with your access details.

Everything not named has been sorted by year and added to the appropriate folder/User Gallery under my name.

If you want to claim ownership of any of these pictures please contact me.

Be Aware: These pictures can be viewed by everyone in the whole wide world, so please keep the material within accepted boundaries.

Note – You do not have to flip down the active sign if you’re the only pilot there.

Hi All.
As I notified you all by SMS Kate from NPWS and I spoke a few days ago at which time she informed me that as a trial Merewether would be reopened to Pilots only from Thursday 16/04/2020. I spoke to her again yesterday and she assured me she would be putting up signs This morning 18/04/2020.
We will be monitored and if breaches are observed the site will be closed down again.
So whilst we can enjoy those southerlies again, please ensure you stick to the current regulations.

Hi All

As many of you are already aware NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service has taken several steps to ensure they are doing all they can to keep the public save from themselves.

The access road to Dudley beach is now closed, also Merewether T.O, Catho, Wybong Head. Please check out the link below for full closures.

Hi all

Firstly I wish good health to all.

We are being asked to self isolate in these extraordinary times. My first thoughts when this was being asked was "well, flying must be a great way to socially isolate"
Of course it is not, simply by being out and about without a real necessity is increasing the risk to you and to others.

As president of the club I will try to give the right example and cease flying until the situation improves.

You will of course need to make up your own minds.

In responce of Bad weather conditions and the difficulty of towing
out of Gulgong Aerodrome . It has been decided to end the CWC Classic comp
at Gulgong . I would like to thank the land owners and business of Gulgong
for all there support in the past years .

The new event will be held at Barraba NSW which is 57 km north of Manilla

Hi everyone.

I have been a little slack over the holiday period, mainly because I was having too much fun. I forgot to give you the opportunity to announce any new business for the coming meeting.

So any pressing matters will be dealt with as required, no announcement needed.

One matter we will be raising is "handing over the Corryong Cup", Hughbert Alexander has put his hand up for this and unless there is someone in our club with a better offer he will be running it from this year on.
