First Aid Training IS ON 7 Sept course is FULL

CLAIM THE DATE: Tuesday 7th September. Start Sharp at 6pm. finish 10pm.

Course is now full.

We have a first aid training course specifically for our club members. This is a certificate course approved by Workcover Australia and will give you the first aid certificate valid for 3 years. The course content will be tailored to suit our sporting needs. This course is normally one full day long with home work done prior to the course. Because we are all clued up, switched on, bright, alert and smarter than the average IQ high fliers this training will be done all in the one night. So be prepared for some intense training with no meal breaks, no toilet stops, no interruptions, and no non-sense.

This will be done in the one evening with home work to be done BEFORE you get there. The home work will be sent to you in the week before the course.

We have a special price for NHGC members of $95 (usually $105) to be paid on the night.
Any member who wants to enrol please phone or text me ASAP on 0400 63 7070. Those who gave me their names at our monthly meeting this week are already enrolled and do not need to call me again.

Course Payment

7 of the 14 members who attended the first aid training paid within a couple of days of the course. Could the other 7 please make payment at your earliest convenience.

In case you missed the email, we were successful in pettitioning NSWHGA to part fund the course. Thanks to that funding, the cost per pilot after adding our room hire costs to the course fee is $51.24.

Will you please make your payment of $51.24 via direct deposit to the Club’s Newcastle Permanent account BSB 650000 account number 956804206. Alternatively, you can use Paypal. First Aid Training - great turnout

Great to see so many people there on Tues night for the First Aid Training. It's one of those things you hope you never have to use, but reassuring that there is now so many club members who can assist if the unfortunate circumstance should arise.

It's been quite a few years since I did my Senior First Aid and it was interesting to learn all of the changes, especially the recommended CPR ratios. The idea of not having to touch lips with any of you guys and relying on compressions alone is quite appealing ....thankfully I have a resusciation mask on my key ring so I would happily provide a breath of life for any of you guys........make that 2 breaths, 30 compressions

Thanks to Allan for organising it. And thanks again for organising the extra funds to reduce the costs for everyone. It was money well spent.

Cheers,

Nigel

Me too

Thanks Allan,

Last night was well orgaised. You found exactly the right person to give the training, and we found exactly the right person to set it up.

We have to change to location but date and time remain the same. The new venue will be sent out to each person attending.

Please make sure you read through the work book and complete the home work before you get to the training.
