Ian and I have been out to dudley for a lovely late afternoon flight. Stinging it.
It has been a while since I flew. Sunday I was out on a job and stopped by strezi for a fly of my new ASW28. A nice foam sailplane. It was light but good enough for a hangie, I just didn't have one. Gary turned up with a fun just as my batteries were running flat and I departed for lunch.
Tonight I flew Dudley with Ian. It was great. I took my sting and Ian flew a speed paraglider (it was tto strong for a regular paraglider). Ian took some movies and I did some mild aero routines around him to get them on film, it is amazing just how I can climb up to him and chase him about given the performance difference. The eagle was out and flew with us occasionaly.
It feels so good to be out for a fly at last. the weather is so good, having sea breezes this time of year. I think that I know some dogs that would like to be up there too, it has been a while between flight for them too.
