Clean Up Australia day

Next sunday is clean up australia day. Flo and I are going to take the kids to show them how to care for their environment.
As a club, we are often cleaning up our launch and lading sites, and that's great, but we are probably the only people who realise that we do this. It certainly won't hurt our image with the people who live near our sites, nor with the members of the various landcare type groups who are likely to be out on Sunday to see us getting involved.
We could create our own group, and clean up either Dixon or Empire park, but as this is at the last minute, I think it's easier to join an existing group.
A group called "Trees in Newcastle" have registerd a clean-up site from Merewether Beach to Burwood Beach, which is the only existing clean-up site at one of our flying sites, so I've joined in to volunteer here. Merewether Beach To Burwood Beach
