Flylight Dragonfly in Newcastle

The Dragonfly is a light weight soaring nanotrike but can also cruise with its economical & very quiet Bailey 4 stroke motor. It uses 2L per hour of premium unleaded. The landing gear is retracted up into the fairing to clean up the aerodynamics for soaring flight. Mid air restarts have proven to be fast & 100% reliable. I have put about 5hrs on the machine and can say that it's awesome fun and has a great future for ageing HG pilots that can't run like they used to. Also a great alternative to the power harness in this regard. Airborne have been working on a nanotrike wing based on the Sting 3 168. I flew for about 2.5 hrs with the prototype and can say that the handling is light and responsive and as good as the Aeros Discus15T that comes with the standard package. A group of pilots recently toured France using this little aircraft. How much fun that would be! Please contact me if you have any questions.
