Dawn Service

Seabreeze.com.au currently predicts 14 knots SE at dawn tomorrow (Sat 03/10) morning. If the prediction is good ( and the air isn't too wet ) then I'll be launching at Dawn tomorrow mornign ( that's 05:03am campers! )

Meet me there! If your alarm clock won't wake you up before the sun breaches the horizon, then either let me know that you want me to call you as I leave home or make of these:

Not this morning, we have westerlies, so now reset your alarm clock for tomorrow (sun 04/10) :)

not westerly all day dawson

I set up with Donny about 1200 with two students in the air in super smooth southerly conditions.

Tony was doing tandems and landing back on top so I thought I would get som top landing practice. Donny flying his new old Sting got it down after lotttts of attempts but I played caution. About 2 pm it went light southerly and there were a fewc bomb outs, then real turbulent as the wind went SE then the rest of the day was magic SE and 16 kts. Donny followed me thru to Scenic and after a debrief at Monument we had Adrian, Gary Harry all land together before some laps to Scratchley then back to the beaches for drinks and eats. Splint was floating around high in his C4 and Gary Newton turned up late.

Garry H was in his Fun and when it went back south late in the day had to land at Newy but got picked up OK back to his car at Merewether.

Looks like he might have
