Leaving Switzerland

Well, I'm back in Sunny, hot France now. As I drive around the rural area of Brittany where Flo comes from, I can't help but think that this would be a great area for flying in. Mostly flat lands, pleanty of large open paddocks for landing in, just pick one that doesn't currently have a crop in it, and hot to buggery. The only flying site that I know of though is at Le Menez Hom, a couple of hundred km north, a smallish mountain, or largish hill from what I've heard. There's a paragliding school there apparently. Someone needs to set up a tow park somewhere around here.

I have just uploaded the best of the rest of my photos you can see them here if you like: http://pics.nhgc.asn.au/thumbnails.php?album=181

Two more weeks here, but no flying, I'll be using up the rest of my time over here to earn back some of the brownie points I spent in Switzerland. I almost got another flight in the evening before I left. There is a great mountain launch just behind Romans's girlfriends house, and we went up to fly, but a luff line had broken on the previous flight. We were going to repair it with some paraglider line, but I thought I'd better not push my luck and called it a day.

I hope the flying has been good back home, and hope it's going to be good when I get back there. I'll have weekends to fly until Flo & the kids come back!
