And the reason isn’t high-tech
In fact he is lucky
Avoided injury to body
Next time he should do a hang-check

Without hang-check/pull-through
He fell, not flew
At 10 metres per second per second

Hang checks are cool

The preflight was all tip-top
Alas, the hang check was not
With terminal speed
He hit the LZ
Where a headstone now marks the spot

He would hang glide in search of fun
But today the preflights weren’t done
Unattached to his wing
He was soon plummeting
On a glide slope of zero to one
