Cliff Couture - ie, get dressed up and fly this weekend!

Hey all, this weekend is still looking good for getting up in the air in your cossie! You can fancy dress, you can dress up your harness, or why not just get out in the air in your best Sunday clothes!

C'mon, you can't say you're embarrassed to join in, I've seen lots of you pilots waiting on lots of launches in leggings, rashies, balaclavas, gloves and goggles! Heck, if you can get out in public like that, you'll find it easy to dress up.

So come on up to Strezi or Merewether from whenever it's on and join in for some visual fun.

Cheers
Stuie

And this is just crazy, there is a competion in the U.K where people jump off a pier into the freezing ocean in crazy costumes, homemade flying machines or hang gliders. Check out the video. There is a prize of £30,000 for the furthest flight over a 100 metre distance...

The dress code is liberal

Never mind "Camouflage Cammo", are you going to wear your work clothes?

I will wear my work clothes

I will wear my work clothes all day from 8am through to 6pm. I will be at the fire station on day shift. Bummer.
Hope the wind is good for Cliff Couture, and it looks promising. Every time I'm working it seems to be 'on'.
The Fire Brigades need to open a Hang Gliding Unit, for reconnaissance and fire spotting. I believe the coastal area has always been particularly vulnerable.
The Florida Police Department have the right idea:
