It Was On If You Were Quick

Seabreeze forecast the wind to swing to the SSE and drop off but after an hour of watching the live data show that the wind was picking up I finished my work for the day and "shut up shop". A quick call to JOD and he tells me he is also leaving the establishment and headed for Dicko.

When I get to Dicko it looks a bit light so I bypass and go straight to Strezi. It seemed more SE than SSE to me but it was definitely on and I could have launched from Dicko with JOD, who was now bussing the launch as I finished setting up. Scott Barrett came up from Dicko to join me as well. He played with his 168 Sting 3 down low and way out in front while I hung on to all the hight I could as the wind got a little lighter. Still, we were between 100 to 200ft above. JOD and Scott did touch and goes at the Monument and as the sun descended I headed for Dicko.

A few beers at the Bowlo with Harry, Adam and Anton and all was good in the world (for a while anyway) :-)
