Great News
The Watagans Mts new Launches being NE Heaton And NW Heaton have received approval from
the NSW HPA and the funding of these launches has been almost achieved . These new launches
will begin construction in the next few weeks . Contributors to the funding for these launches
are NSW HPA , Newcastle Paragliding Club , Central Coast Sky Surfers Club and still waiting to
hear back form three other clubs . Also not to forget the Newcastle Hang Gliding Club .
When these new launches are completed they will open up a new era of flying in the Watagan Mts
with ratings for the launches dropping to low levels for both Hang Gliding and Paragliding and make
these sites a great place to fly . There will be a grand opening weekend held at the sites after completion
of works and we hope all will come , Date to be announced .

Again the Newcastle Hang Gliding Club and I would like to thank all that assisted to get this project
underway and hope all will enjoy flying the Watagan Mts
