I’m thinking we need a fly-in of a new nature. I think we should hold a Carnival celebrating the wonderful, carefree fun of playing in the air. Let’s invite all and create a visual extravaganza - you create and fly in whatever fantabulous costume your imagination can devise. Location, preferably Strez. Prizes of course, plenty of adoring fans and the press…

So come all, what say you? I’m suggesting Anzac weekend (25-26/4) with the following weekend as back up.

If you need inspiration on what to wear/ how many people watch/ how this could raise the profile of our sport, Google Images “Coupe Icare”. This is a week of flying in France with a weekend of incredible costumes.

This could become a yearly event greatly anticipated by hang gliders, paragliders and the public alike!
