Newcastle Skate Park Review E-Newsletter
Volume 2 - 11 February 2009
Council would like to thank everyone for coming to the January consultations held at our ten skate parks. Between these consultations and the initial December consultation we had a mammoth 222 people attend and 173 surveys completed.
Where is the review up to?
We are putting together feedback from all our consultations and will present the major findings at the open forum on Thursday 12 February.
A quick sneak peek
Want to know more?
Come to the forum at The Loft on Wolfe St in Newcastle Mall from 5pm – 6pm on Thursday 12 February.
We will also be putting together a small working party to get into the nitty gritty of the provision of skate parks city -wide. If you want to be involved in this working party or you want to make sure you’re being represented by someone you think will do a great job then turn up.
Well that’s it for now. Another volume of this e-newsletter will come out once the working party has been established and had a chance to work through some of the review material. Our aim is to keep you updated.
Hope to see you on Thursday.
