Saturday' flying

I spent Saturday morning in a trike, flying out of Rutherford to Hexham for touch and goes and then back to Rutherford into a wind that reduced our groundspeed to negative at times, fantastic fun! It was thermic from 10:00, if you could have got off the ground safely, it would've been a great day for hang gliding.

NHGC Denman Week-End

19/09/2008 2:00 pm
20/09/2008 2:00 pm
Australia/Sydney

Cancel that date with Jen, tell Kylie you’re washing your hair and give Angelina the stiff arm because its TOWTIME at Denman on September 20/21 – (a traditionally good weekend and favoured in the long range forecasts as “excellent”).

Pete & Chris are in a hospitable mood and the Evils should be nesting. If that’s not enough, Georgia is having her 10th (Dave & Megan please note) and Denman school is celebrating their 125th with a big fete. There’s more chance of a frost than light winds at this time of year but hey, it’s a lucky place and we are optimists if nothing else.
