What's a team without a really cool team name?

Instead of just naming the teams "Team 1, Team 2 .... etc" I have used a random team name generator someone left lying around on the interwebs.

If your team doesn't like your randomly generated name, let me know what you want as a team name and I'll update it.

We've got some waypoints which may or may not be used in the club comp.

You can get them from the Comp2010 page ( click http://www.nhgc.asn.au/node/884 )

Please put these into your gps before we turn up on Saturday, it's a lot easier to put them in your gps from your computer than to manually enter them on the hill, and it's worth spending the time to get familiar with gpsdump, gpsbabel or whatever other software you choose to use to manage your gps.

A thousand words of us at goal at 7:13 this morning :

I have added a custom filter to the site so that any email address which is included in a post will automatically be obfuscated.

"What does obfuscated mean?" I hear you ask.
Obfuscation is the process of taking some text and making it unrecognisable, whilst still allowing it to work in it's intended way.

"What a way to waste your time Dawson! Why weren't you out flying instead of doing that?" you may well ponder.

A big thank you to Ricky & Airborne for letting us hang from their rafters, and to Scott for giving a presentation on chutes, Stuie for winding us up, and to everyone who came.

By practicing deploying, hopefully we'll all be more prepared should we ever actually need to deploy, and some of us learned that we need to get new deployment bags, or that we've got to push rather than pull.
