Hi Guys,

I've registered our Clean Up Australia day site for this year at Strezi Launch.

Let's face it, if we didn't we'd probably be blamed for the litter that others left there, so it's definately in our interest to do so.

It's also in our interest to have the locals know that we are involved in keeping our area and the area near by clean and tidy, so come along wearing NHGC branded clothes and help out.

Unfortunately I'll probably not get to take part in any of it tomorrow, but Gary P & some guys are planning a dawn assult on merewether and Shannon is planning to get a bunch of guys from Sydney and Slamwell to come up to Budgewoi for some dune gooning tomorrow - be there at one or both if you can.

I have mentioned to a couple of pilots that I might be in for a dawny tomorrow morning - the forecast is looking ok ( so long as it's not too wet at the time ) but I'm not going to make it in due to work commitments early tomorrow.

I will however try to get in for a flap before the meeting tomorrow night - see you there.

It's blowing like stink here in Adelaide. There's a launch 2 mins walk down the road with the wind blowing straight in, but I'd do better with my harness hooked to my Zagi in this wind. The only problem is I left the Zagi back at home.

Cliff stabilisation

From Newcastle Voice newsletter 19/Sep/2011:

"Improvements along Newcastle's coastline are set to continue with the stabilisation project to get underway soon at Bar Beach. Community consultation was undertaken for this project in late 2009, with Newcastle Voice members providing valuable feedback and suggestions.Thank you for your input. Public access to the Bar Beach area will be maintained throughout the project."

At last night's meeting, we sold out of all but 5 of the new Long Sleeve T-Shirts. There are only 4 XXL and one M available, so get in quick.

The last of the white short-sleeve t-shirts sold out as well.

The grey beanies are in a Race with the navy beanies to see which will be sold out first. It's a close race at this stage, with the grey beanies in the lead.
