Day 1 20th of june 2020
Works began today on the new NW and NE Launches in the Watagan Mts . Most
of the trees were removed today from the launch sites . Tomorrow the tree lopper will
complete tree removal so that will only leave tree stumps to be ground next week .
A huge thank you to Michael Kelly and his team from Industrees rock , rope and trees

Great News
The Watagans Mts new Launches being NE Heaton And NW Heaton have received approval from
the NSW HPA and the funding of these launches has been almost achieved . These new launches
will begin construction in the next few weeks . Contributors to the funding for these launches
are NSW HPA , Newcastle Paragliding Club , Central Coast Sky Surfers Club and still waiting to
hear back form three other clubs . Also not to forget the Newcastle Hang Gliding Club .
When these new launches are completed they will open up a new era of flying in the Watagan Mts
